It’s not as scary as you think.

Zippy the Razorclown was the second character I ever made in Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. An image popped into my head of a manic, goth-looking combat clown with spiky white hair and a Scottish claymore. Though I didn’t recognize it at the time, his original design borrowed heavily from Cloud Strife. He’s crazy, but he has a good heart. He’s more acrobat than clown.

The character has been through a number of incarnations in a number of settings. I’ve written him in his original medieval fantasy setting, and in a more modern mode, as in the picture above.

I keep using “razorclown” as a go-to account name because he’s one of my favorite characters. And, for some reason, it’s usually not taken.
